In 2018 I travelled to Cambodia, where I assisted with getting the Cambodia Peace Museum in Khasch Poy Village, near Battambang, ready to open. This important museum is the vision of Emma Leslie, Executive Director of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies in Siem Reap and peace activist, Soth Plai Ngarm.

Another of my voluntary projects while in Cambodia was to tell the story of the  opening of the Cambodia Peace Museum through photographs.

This humanitarian work for the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, a non-government organisation (NGO), earned me the title of Peace Correspondent, and created in me a determination to do meaningful work across the world.

I was also enlisted to cover a visit by  a group of international students to Wat Thmei, the former Khmer Rouge killing field in Siem Reap.
